Climate screen 153

Flame retardant screen for diffusion, shading and cooling

Climate screen 153 is a white screen with an open structure for enhanced light diffusion and shading. On warm days it protects, cools, and brings light to the plants from many angles – stimulating growth. At night it helps reduce radiated heat loss, minimizing the formation of dew and the risk of fungal diseases. In cool climates it’s often combined with an energy saving screen at night. This product is made from flame retardant materials alone, this is the optimum choice for all installations from a fire safety perspective. It meets the highest safety standard in the horticultural industry and test reports are available from various authorities.

Healthier plants and accelerated production – this is the result of Climate screen’s gentle approach to managing sunlight. Its white strips simply scatter sunlight more effectively. To further improve cooling, many Climate screens have an open structure.

Reasons to choose Climate screens of protective textiles:

  • High grade light diffusion actively scatters the sunlight to reach deeper – and more evenly – into the crop;
  • Less risk of burning the plants and more light exposure at a cooler temperature;
  • Improved productivity and stronger healthier plants due to more even light distribution to upper and lower sections of the crop;
  • A gentle and effective environment not only for plants – but also the people working in the greenhouse;
  • Increased crop quality due to lower temperature of the fruit or flower.
